the rich gets away with everything
    Friday, June 08, 2007 (10:52 PM)

i'm beginning to lose respect for us law enforcers. for some reason, paris hilton's 45-day jail term was reduced to 23-days. now after merely 3 days in jail, paris hilton is now back at home citing "medical condition" as a reason. so now she no longer has to serve jail term. rather, she is confined to her home and the seemingly pretentious effort to "reinstate" her 45-day jail term by confining her to her home for the next 40 days.

anyone can do this simple math. 3 days in jail + 40 days confinement makes up only 43 days. so what happens to the 2 days? according to Today, just because she stayed for a few hours behind bars on 3rd june, she has been credited with 2 days. wtf! i have nothing against paris hilton but it seems that the rich can just get away with everything. i reiterate, it seems.

let's face it. the hilton home is a paradise. she can probably take a walk around her garden and 1 day is gone. i have an idea! let's send all the prisoners back home and confine them to their house. i'm sure they wouldn't mind.

to protect myself, i must state that this may possibly be a misrepresentation of facts as it is based on surface report in the papers. but if it really is the case, it's such a disappointment that we are under-privileged.
