a bad new start

ok so i got this revived and planned to do some studying today. but things didn't go so well because of the sentosa outing. first, the ulcer caused my right cheek to be puffed up, i look like half a shaggy. second, it hurt so bad, i could neither eat nor talk properly, let alone laugh. third, i couldn't concentrate on studying with the pain and growling stomach.
the next good thing came when i boot up this pc. the cursor refused to move. so i rebooted the com and tried again. no sign of life. i plugged in a usb mouse. still no life. i plugged back the ps2 mouse. ok pronounced dead. though the laser light still show signs of life, i believe it's brain dead. so here i am visiting every site with my trusty-ol' keyboard. which kinda gives me some problem in formatting this because my tab can't seem to reach the formatting buttons. *sheesh*
so you see, this entry ends up having font size bigger than the others. good for those of you who are pretty blind. good for those of you who use 1280x1024. good for those of you who kept complaining about my small font size. it isn't that small! open up your eyes people! O_O
a brand new start

well, well, who'd have expected this to come alive again? not me. but i'm trying out some new stuff. look! the title's new, the template's new, some new things have begun in my life and i've even got an ad at the side! haha... just recently, the straits times published an article on ewen chia making his first million on the internet. how did he do that? i'm still not exactly sure but click on the image at the sidebar to link to his webpage. i've briefly read through the page and in it he promises to reveal the secrets of internet/online marketing. maybe some of you might wanna go find out and give me some tips. lol...
i know of some friends who are keen on doing online businesses but all businesses = no businesses when there is no marketing. the good thing about having a shop front is you don't really need much marketing for people to know your existence but the downside is the hefty sum in space rental. on the internet, things are different. the capital requirement is so much lesser but the downside is, you need to do some serious marketing. so, i don't really know how useful this is but if he can make a million dollars and promises the same, maybe you guys can try it out.
further updates about what has been going on, i just went to sentosa yesterday with guang, tommy and marcus. after a hectic day, i'm beginning to feel the heat and fell sick. -_-" thankfully my tried-and-tested model of perspiration induction prevented myself from having a serious case of fever. so i'm recovering well now cept for the thumping headache and giddiness.
exam started on 21st may 2007 and will end on 3rd may 2007. so 2 papers down and i have 2 more to go on the 3rd itself. can't wait for it to be over. and after it ends on the 3rd, the special term will begin on the 7th. yep, i've signed up for special term because i dropped a module during mid-sem break so if i do not clear one module during special term, i would've to take 6 mods next sem! well, anyway, this module seems easy to do well since there's no project except 2 quizzes and 1 final examination. so i've decided not to s/u it. i'm trying to get a cap good enough for honours though i don't intend to stay another year. at least, i would want to get a degree with merit, which at the moment i'm there but in danger of losing it anytime. *shivers*
i'm currently hovering between going to teach in japan for a year or two at most before returning to work at sph and going straight to sph after graduation. that's after i've returned the 4 months of national service. *sigh* ok. so i haven't ord-ed.
anyway, keep a watchout for this space again as i have bigger news come 3rd may! *muwahahaha*
